Description

Delicious and flaky cinnamon twists that combine the sweetness of sugar with the warmth of cinnamon and butter.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Roll the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  3. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  4. Brush the pastry with melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over it.
  5. Cut the pastry into strips and twist them spirally.
  6. Place the twisted strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Beat the egg with vanilla extract and brush it over the twists.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months.
